Settings

The Settings page is where you configure your SoftSysVideo account. It has several tabs:

Integration tab

This is the most important tab for connecting to Moodle. It contains:

Server URL

Your unique API endpoint for the Moodle plugin configuration. It looks like:

https://api-xxxxxxxx.softsysvideo.xyz/bigbluebutton/api/

Copy this URL into the BigBlueButton plugin settings in Moodle. Each account has a unique URL — use the one shown in your dashboard, not any example URL from documentation.

Shared Secret

A secret key that authenticates requests between Moodle and SoftSysVideo. Keep this value private — treat it like a password.

If you believe your shared secret has been compromised, click Regenerate to create a new one. After regenerating, you must update the shared secret in your Moodle plugin settings.

General tab

Configure your organization profile:

Organization name — displayed in meeting rooms and notifications
Contact email — used for billing and account communications

API Keys tab

API keys allow you to access SoftSysVideo programmatically (for custom integrations beyond Moodle).

From this tab you can:

Create a new API key — give it a name to remember what it’s used for
Regenerate a key — creates a new key value (old key stops working immediately)
Revoke a key — permanently deletes the key

AI Features tab

Control AI-powered features for your account:

Feature	Description
Transcription	Generate text transcripts of recorded meetings
AI Summary	Generate concise summaries of meetings

These features apply to new recordings after they are enabled. Existing recordings are not retroactively processed.

AI feature availability depends on your plan. Check the Billing section to see which features are included.
